Hosting a WeckMethod instructor training is a great opportunity to educate your staff (and others) on the innovative techniques and products WeckMethod offers. It also provides tremendous value to your facility and members. It is easy to get started. Just fill out the registration form or give us a call!
Fees & Licensing:
There is no facility cost to host an instructor training event. There are no licensing fees to offer WeckMethod classes at your facility. We only ask that facilities have a certified trainer teaching the class and the WeckMethod class name is clearly displayed on class schedules, calendars, and other appropriate material.
Equipment is included in the registration fee at a discounted rate for those trainings which require equipment. If the attendee already has the required equipment, or if the facility is purchasing the equipment separately, the attendee is able to select a payment option which does not include equipment.
Equipment will be sent to the attendee or facility at least (3) business days before the scheduled training date.
Each attendee will receive a comprehensive training manual as well as access to online video content in order to review techniques, cueing and new content and programming.
Registration & Payment:
Once a hosted training is scheduled, attendees will register through the WeckMethod website. Facilities can designate the training to be "public" or “private". If the training is "public" it will be displayed on our website and open to the public to view details and/or register for the event. If the facility chooses "private", we will provide the facility with an access code to be given to selected attendees.
The facility may also pay in advance for the required minimum number of attendees. If the facility chooses this option, they will be given access codes for the selected attendees. Names of attendees are required in advance for this option.
WeckMethod instructor trainings require a minimum of 15 attendees unless otherwise agreed upon during the scheduling process. If a training is located outside the continental US, additional costs and/or minimums will apply. These will be set during the initial scheduling process. If the facility fails to meet the minimums required, they will be responsible for paying the difference the "day of" the scheduled training.
Host facility will receive one registrant. This individual's name will be given to WeckMethod during the facility registration process or at least (5) business days before the scheduled training. WeckMethod will provide this person with a free event discount code.
Marketing the Training:
WeckMethod will provide up a 100 flyers for the event as well as display the event (if public) on our website, social media pages, email newsletters and other. The facility will also have access to graphics (website and print) in order to use in their own material. The facility is responsible for marketing the event throughout their appropriate marketing channels, local and regional contacts, other facilities, gyms, and area instructors.
Space requirements will vary depending on the instructor training course selected. However, for most courses we require at least 500 square foot per each 15 participants.
Host Facility Requirements:
The host facility is asked to provide one individual (usually the free registrant) in order to assist with set-up, registration, breakdown, and any other possible requirements during the day. If this person is not the free registrant, please provide the individual's name and contact information to WeckMethod at least (5) business days before the scheduled event. A table for registration, towels for participants, writing utensils, and a trash can are also requested if possible.
Continuing education credits vary according the training selected and will be provided to the participant after the instructor training has been completed. Each registration page has the amount of CEC's available and the approved certification bodies for that instructor training.
WeckMethod instructor trainings are scheduled a minimum of 8 weeks in advance. All attendees are requested to arrive 30 minutes before training begins in order to register. The facility is expected to have the necessary space available and free at the time instructor training is scheduled to begin.
Course length ranges from 6 to 8 hours depending of the Instructor training selected. Instructor trainings are usually scheduled on Saturdays or Sundays and start at 9am, 10am or 11am unless otherwise determined during the facility scheduling process.
After a training date is mutually agreed upon between WeckMethod and the host facility, the host facility is expected to make every effort to hold the event as scheduled. If the host is unable to provide the stated facility due to exceptional or unforeseen circumstances, the facility will provide WeckMethod with an alternative venue of equal size in the local area.
WeckMethod reserves the right to cancel up to (7) days prior to the event start date for extenuating circumstances or not meeting the required attendee minimum. If this occurs, a full refund will be issued to any paid registrants. All of WeckMethod's instructor trainings are non-refundable unless approved by WeckMethod's program coordinator. Any request for cancellation must be submitted to the Program coordinator 6 weeks before training date. A cancellation fee of up to 50% of the minimum attendee cost may apply.
WeckMethod provides one free registration for the host facility as well as early bird discounts and group discounts. Group discounts will be granted to those facilities ensuring a minimum of 15 attendees or a facility which pays in advance for minimum the amount of attendees.
